LIFE CYCLE

Rippling waves embrace the shore.

Buried heartaches weep no more.

Withered roses give birth to new life.

Peace will one day replace war and strife.

Rays of dawn light up dark skies.

Where Love is there are no goodbyes.

The scholar retires but not his mind.

Lost vision will return to the blind.

Memories of yesterday disappear.

Beyond the veil visions are clear.

Two lovers skip gaily along the beach.

The Dreamer sees far beyond his reach.

Soft breezes caress the newborn’s face.

The dying welcome sweet Death’s embrace.

Laughter is the child of mirth.
Our life cycle continues from death to birth.
